Performed AC p.m. on the upstairs system. Replaced air filter, blew out drain line. Checked the blower wheel. Noticed a lot of rust in the drain pan. The pan is metal. There was some water in the secondary pan. At this time, unsure if the metal pan is leaking or if was from the evap coil possibly being frozen. The system was low on refrigerant. When testing the condenser, the was no power. Found the breaker tripped. Reset and turned the disconnect on. Noticed a spark when it started near the compressor. Found a broken compressor wire. Repaired, and started. Added 8oz R22 to system. The system is operating properly.
