Turned the thermostats up and the burner started and stopped. Found the air shutter was spinning and was not stopping at the end switch. Disconnected the motor and taped the end switch closed so it will fire. Cycled the burner several times. Need to order and replace the air shutter motor.

We will drain the system. Cut out and move the Zone 2 flocheck and install a flocheck for zone 3. Fill and purge all zones. Price includes Silver Member discount.

In Middlefield, CT, during a routine HVAC system maintenance, I identified a compromised capacitor affecting the compressor's efficiency. Additionally, a blockage in the condensate drain line was found, posing a risk of water damage and reducing humidity control. The capacitor was replaced with a new unit, and the drain line was cleared of debris, ensuring the system's optimal operation and reliability.

In Middlefield, CT, I am performing comprehensive heating maintenance. Also replacing a faulty thermostat for this customer. All critical components such as air filters and coils were thoroughly inspected and cleaned, improving overall system performance. All checks were made and this client's heating system is prepared for the ongoing season.

Washed condenser. Blew out drain line Tested condensate pump Inspected evap coil Tested capacitor Tested charge and required sh was 23 and we had 20 which is acceptable for the unit through factory specs. Head pressure was 175psi. suction was 55 psi. 52* f outside temp

Upon arrival found t-stats on but air handler was not turning on. Had no hot water at air handler so the clip on aquastat was not turning the air handler on. Checked circulator pump at boiler and found the loop to be air bound and overheating the pump. Bled zone of air and the air handler clicked on to heat mode. Checked temps on supply and return pipes and had 159 supply and 146 return on the end of the heating cycle. Found that the auto feed backflow combo has to be replaced due to water still leaking by when system is at pressure and that the tridicator is stuck and not displaying pressure and temp accurately. Recommend replacing both
